Welcome to Deb Mitzel Creative! Since this is the first official blog post for this space, I think it makes sense to introduce myself, and explain a little bit about what Deb Mitzel Creative is and hopes to become in the future. 😊

I’m Deb Mitzel, the founder of Deb Mitzel Creative, a Digital Marketing and Consulting Services Company whose goal is to serve small business owners by helping them take their businesses to the next level of success without burning out in the process.  I have a big passion for small business owners, and I just love helping them capitalize on the American dream.  As someone who has spent the majority of my career as a CFO and Operations manager for other small business owners, and as a small business owner myself, I have seen the highs and lows, but believe that at the end of the day, small business ownership is one of the greatest blessings, and I love being able to help others make that happen. 

I have spent the past thirty years making things happen in small businesses, from sales and marketing to operations and accounting, and everything in between. I retired from my career to pursue my own passion for helping others level up and achieve their small business dreams. I bring a unique set of skills to the table and am extremely well-suited to be the right-hand person many small business owners need to help them get to the next level. I’m not afraid to dig in and get my hands dirty, but I’m also able to guide and direct strategic planning, development, and implementation efforts. My sweet spot is being a “jill of all trades” owners can rely on to get things done at the highest level and know that they’ve got someone in their corner who cares as much about their business as they do.

Most people who know me think I am always working, and I guess in some capacity I am, but it’s not always on things I get paid to do, and I don’t consider it all work. 😉 I love learning and am a bit of a personal development junkie, so I’m always listening to podcasts and reading books on health and wellness, and doing my best to live a full life doing the things I love. I don’t want to look back on my life and wish I had done things differently. I want to be active as long as possible, so taking care of myself – mind, body, and spirit – is part of that plan.

This blog will be a place for sharing insight, tips, and information that I think will help you be more successful in business and in life. When you’re a small business owner, life is business and business is life, so while this blog will focus mainly on business, there will be healthy doses of life sprinkled in too! So...don’t run away if you’re not a small business owner. You’ll likely find something here that will appeal to you too! 😊
